| 1997 | Represented Canada in the Republic of China at the International Folklore & Folkgame Festival in Taiwan. There were 300,000 spectators during the festival & the company has been invited back. | |

| 1995 | Represented Canada at Walt Disney World, Florida, (Epcot '95), during "Rhythms of the World" and performed in 22 shows at the American Gardens Theater By The Shore as guests of Walt Disney World. | |

| 1989 | Hosted the Ross-Shire Folk from Scotland as part of the twinning of Cape Breton & the Highlands of Scotland & gave a series of concerts together entitled "The Highland Connection of Youth". | |

| 1987 | Eileen was the choreographer for the Cape Breton Highland Dancers who performed during the Opening ceremonies of the Canada Winter Games hosted by Cape Breton. | |

| 1985 | Clad in the new "Bicentennial Tartan" the Dance Company was evident in many festivals & celebrations as well as the Gala opening of "Center 200" in Sydney. They took the name "Cape Breton Bicentennial" Dancers in honor of the Bicentennial. | |
| 1980 | The first troupe of highland Dancers from eastern Canada toured Scotland & England. This was a huge undertaking at the time for a local group. | |
